Trang's Cabinets, since 1975

In 1975, my parents came to the United States of America as refugees of the Vietnam war. When my dad came to the US, he started up a custom cabinet shop called "Trang's Cabinets". I remember going to his shop as a kid and digging through the scrap bin to build toys for myself. My dad believed it was good for us to learn how to build and fix things with our hands.

I've been in the software industry for a long time now and have recently yearned to work on more tangible things. Don't get me wrong, my experience in IT has been amazing, providing for my family and also transitioned me into managing people. Starting this design shop is going to be a way for me to connect with more people in a way that's a bit more direct. Whether it's digital designs or tangible wood products, I look forward to connecting with you!
